Pretty much after every Heretic post, someone replies with an email which reads like this:

“Thank you for writing this. I needed this today.”

Of course it’s amazing to know that what I do makes an impact for someone somewhere in the world. But that is not what is important.

What is important is that we are all in this together. That we all go through the same ups and downs. That we all question ourselves and what we do from time to time. That we are all lonely and scared sometimes. That we all are fighting — and that this can be tiring.

But we have each other. Because we are in this together. Never forget: There is someone in our tribe who goes through similar stuff as you do. And even the worst day has only 24 hours.

As the main character in a movie once said: Everything will be all right in the end… if it’s not all right then it’s not yet the end.

Build What Matters.
