Other than the usual tips on how to craft a good pitch (including my very own piece on the subject and, for example, Sequoia’s pitch deck template), here’s one of the best ways to frame your pitch and make it stand out from all the rest:
Make me angry this didn’t exist last year.
This simple framing forces you to focus on the things which make your product or service stand out — and do so in a way which hones in on the aspect of your business which are truly important.
