By now you might have heard about Y Combinator’s free Stanford class “How to Start a Startup”. Today I finally managed to catch up on the first two videos — out of a total of 1,000 minutes of the finest entrepreneurship education you can get.
Sam Altman, president of YC, has assembled a who’s who of (tech) startup folks, including Peter Thiel, Marc Andreessen, Ron Conway, Alfred Lin, Brian Chesky, Aaron Levie, Reid Hoffman and Marissa Mayer. It’s an insane curriculum and from the two sessions I saw so far — one you don’t want to miss.
I predict that this class, which is free and available online for everyone everywhere in the world, will become the must-watch entrepreneurship education (at least if you want to start a tech startup). It’s an incredible service from YC and Stanford to the wider global startup community — and one which you should not miss!
Head over to Sam’s website and watch “How to Start a Startup” in 20 episodes.
