Raising Money is Hard

Last weekend I went through a couple of my digital archives to do a bit of spring cleaning. In the process I found the fund raising documents for one of my startups — which is a powerful proof that raising money is hard. Really hard.

The company we raised a Series A for was founded by a group of experiences entrepreneurs. Each one of us had at least one exit behind us. Some of us sold their companies for tens and hundreds of millions of dollars. And nonetheless we pitches the company to 51 investors:

Raising money is fucking hard. Regardless who you are.
